Delicious lunch or dinner spot with friendly service! Today I came for lunch, which includes free soup and rice. It cost less than $7 for Mapo Tofu and less than $8 for the Curry Chicken, and they came with generous portions. Great deal!
The Mapo Tofu is one of the best I've had. It has the perfect amount of spice and the soft tofu is well cooked. This isn't a vegetarian dish, though, so make sure to specify no meat if you just want tofu.
The curry chicken is reminiscent of Japanese curry, perfectly seasoned and full of tender chicken, peas, carrots, and onions. Tastes wonderful over a bowl of white rice. -

The best egg rolls. Love their string beans and while fish.
Great Asian comfort food. -

Added to my list of top Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel Valley. For me, my absolute FAVORITE thing is soup. And they definitely know how to do soup - specifically chicken soup. They use the ENTIRE chicken to make the soup, something very rare when you go out to eat. The soup is probably enough for 5-6 people. If you're getting over a cold, or you're feeling sick, (which I was), this is the perfect thing. We also ordered a plate of pea sprout leaves, and the leaves were soooo fresh, I was amazed at how crunchy it was. I almost wanted to order another plate (it was too good). The pork belly was also another one of their top dishes. It was tasty! Just a little salty for me, but that's nothing a bowl of rice can't fix. It was the perfect amount though - just a few pieces on top of cabbage to balance out the flavor. You will definitely find me here again.

I've never dined in at this restaurant but I've ordered take out from them a couple of times and it was pretty decent. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as the Good Fortune Supermarket. There is plenty of parking regardless of what time you come. Inside, you'll find that the restaurant is small but never really crowded. I usually order the shanghai fried noodles and pork pan fried dumplings. The food is decent and portions are pretty large. The dumplings tasted okay but were not crispy at all.
FYI they do accept credit card but usually request cash if your bill is under $20 (although they'll still take your credit card if you don't have cash).
